Through mentorship programs, workshops, and support groups, the initiative seeks to empower fathers and father figures, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to build strong, positive relationships with their children. By encouraging active involvement and providing guidance, this work aims to strengthen family dynamics and nurture healthy father-child bonds.

The men of New Salem Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of our Pastor Dr. Keith A. Troy, are developing a fatherhood program at North Linden Elementary School. The purpose of the fatherhood program at North Linden Elementary is to improve the third-grade reading proficiency and to increase attendance school-wide.
